Contradictions on the Liberal Influenced Leftist Movement (Part 1: Introduction)
Gender ideology, sex trade expansionism, surrogacy, the promotion of kink and the porn industry, and diatribes towards people who oppose it.
Introduction
On thing we experience as leftist gender critical feminists are attacks from Trans Rights Activists and “sex positive” people from the left, as well as indoctrinated conservatives within GC and radical feminist spaces. I’ve talked extensively about the spread of right wing ideas, but I want to talk about the issues stemming from liberals and liberalism and their influence on the left.
This also extends to the liberal influence on leftism itself, that influences other movements such as anti-pornography, anti-surrogacy, and opposition to the sex trade. In the early 00s, there was a large boom of feminist thought that was adopted up by postmodernist academia, corporations and capitalist aligned NGOs in the mainstream, this currently influences a majority of feminist politics today.
The left’s failure to address this has allowed right wing recruitment from ill intentioned (or at best, naive) organizations that are not leftist to co-opt and lead on those issues. They use these issues as a pipeline to recruit women who are disillusioned from liberal feminism.
We urge all leftist feminists to hold the line on these issues, as the contradictions of liberalism are becoming more discussed in present day and many will look for answers. We cannot allow the far right to monopolize the discussion as they will take advantage of it.
